Why, at the end of essay, does sanders feel the need to describe so clearly each step in the process. I think he does that so that if you didnt understand what he was saying during the essay you could catch it at the end.

How does sanders use chronological order in this essay? he starts from the beginning and works his way down to the end.

What object, images or ideas connect the diffrent periods of time that he describes? He always mention the hammer and the nails as well as the rest of the tools.
